  I took my son to the ER this morning for what they said was bronchitis. The wait to be seen wasn't horribly bad, waited maybe 2 hours to get a room. Most of the staff was very helpful. Except for my RN and physician. The RN was completely out of line. I was told my son had to get Tylenol through his bottom since he was vomiting all medication. When I asked if that would be painful to him, he replied "DOES IT HURT YOU" and chuckled (insinuating what?). Working in the managment field this is a case HR should look into. When I initially was assisted by the physician in the check in, she was very nice and helpful. However, when we were in our room , I asked her if I could order X-RAYS of his chest through her. She became very upset and told me X-rays at a young age are harmful to him (understandable) , and told me in a very irate voice, " you can't come in here and order what you want." My sister and I were surprised that the staff just talks to patients as if they are annoyed by us. Our insurance pays them , Kaiser is there because the community trust them to care for us. Therefore we deserve to be treated with respect, patience and understanding. If you don't like that line of work, find a different profession.

  I feel it was important to let the community know that we had a horrible experience at the Moreno Valley ER with our 9 year old son. It's best to avoid this place for now go to the Riverside location or Call 911 and go to the peds center in Fontana. Because of the terrible ER experience I highly don't recommend this place for urgent matters when it comes to your babies or your young children.
